How much sample is required for a pesticide residue analysis
Introduction
It is important to know why you are taking a pesticide residue sample, what you hope to achieve and to make sure that the sample is representative of the situation. All measures have to be put in place to ensure there is no contamination of the sample ( use of gloves during sampling and change of protective clothing and gloves between different samples) and no deterioration of the sample on the way to the laboratory (Keep the sample in a cool place with limited sunlight). Prior communication with the laboratory is recommended for further assistance.
Samples should be taken in clean un-used containers as supplied by Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services - please order containers via email from support@cropnuts.com. An unused Zip-lock bag is also ideal for sampling.
